Honouring those who helped shape our past and power our future. ⛵

The Seafarers of the Cayman Islands brought home more than experience from their years at sea. They returned with the resilience, ingenuity, and expertise that played a vital role in building CUC in its early days and electrifying our island when it mattered most.

Their legacy continues to inspire us today.

We are proud to present a contribution of CI$10,000 to the Seafarers Association, with our sincere thanks to Fortis Inc., our majority shareholder, matching this donation! Together, we celebrate a remarkable 60-year journey and the people who made it possible. 🤝

🌤️ Weather Update: April vs. May 2026

Temperatures are on the rise as we move into the warmer months. In April, the average temperature was 82.1°F, with a high of 89.4°F. By May, the average increased to 85.1°F, with peak temperatures reaching 92.5°F.

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞!

As the weather gets warmer, it’s common for electricity use to go up; especially as air conditioning systems run more often to keep homes and businesses cool.

Staying aware of these changes can help you better understand your energy use and what may affect your monthly bill.

💡 Tip: Try setting your thermostat a little higher or using fans to stay comfortable while using less energy.
