Today, a few members from A-LEAN and LAU Alumni had the pleasure of meeting with our guests visiting Detroit from Lebanon representing Lebanese American University (LAU) — Dr. Ali Ammouri and Dr. Elie Badr.

During the meeting, we discussed LAU’s Industrial Hub Program, an initiative focused on connecting American companies with LAU talent. The program enables students and teams in Lebanon to support projects remotely across multiple areas, including design, engineering support, equipment, 3D modeling, websites, databases, and more.

This initiative supports two important objectives: creating meaningful employment and project opportunities for Lebanese students, while also supporting LAU’s mission as a nonprofit institution through industry collaboration.

Thank you to everyone from A-LEAN and LAU Alumni who attended and contributed to this productive discussion. We look forward to exploring future collaboration opportunities together.
