Our electricity services are licensed, authorised and regulated by the Regulator for Energy and Water Services. Our services are also primarily governed by the Enemalta (Transfer of Assets, Rights, Liabilities and Obligations) Act (CAP 536), the Electricity Supply Regulations (S.L. 545.01), the Electricity Market Regulations (S.L.545.13), the Network Code and any other applicable legislation. Electrical installations in Malta and Gozo are also regulated by the Electrical Installation Regulations (S.L. 545.24). ⚡ Qed nersqu iktar viċin lejn it-tlestija ta’ tliet ċentri ta' distribuzzjoni ġodda fin-Naxxar, is-Siġġiewi u l-Imsida bħala parti mill-investiment nazzjonali biex inkomplu insaħħu in-network tal-elettriku ta’ Malta.

Dawn il-proġetti se jżidu l-kapaċità u r-reżiljenza tal-grid nazzjonali, filwaqt li jassiguraw provvista tal-elettriku aktar b'saħħita għal familji u negozji.

⚡ We are getting closer to the completion of three new distribution centres in Naxxar, Siġġiewi and Msida as part of our investment programme to further strengthen Malta’s electricity network.

These projects will increase the capacity and resilience of the national grid, while ensuring a stronger electricity supply for families and businesses.

Bħalissa, fiċ-Ċentru tad-Distribuzzjoni tan-Naxxar, qed jintramaw żewġ transformers ta’ 30MVA ġodda 🛠️

Il- wasla ta' dawn it-transformers hija parti mill-avvanzi f'partijiet ewlenin tal-infrastruttura elettrika fiċ-ċentri ġodda tad-distribuzzjoni⚡

Currently, at the Naxxar Distribution Centre, we are installing two new 30MVA transformers 🛠️

The arrival of these transformers forms part of the upgrades to key sections of our electricity infrastructure at our new distribution centres ⚡

🇲🇹 F’San Ġiljan, għaddejjin xogħlijiet ta’ tqiegħid ta’ cables ġodda taħt l-art.
Parti minn ħidma kontinwa biex inkomplu insaħħu in-network ta’ distribuzzjoni ta’ l-elettriku.

🇬🇧 In St. Julian’s, works are underway to install new underground cables. This is part of ongoing efforts to continue strengthening the electricity distribution network.
