As we approach 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 this August, we look back on a meaningful initiative that brought the CHCE family together beyond the workplace.

Colleagues from every CHCE business unit came together as one team for our 𝗖𝗛𝗖𝗘 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺: 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 at Beautiful Gate Foundation for the Disabled. Through art, games, meaningful conversations, and grocery distribution, we shared more than our time—we shared care, compassion, and genuine human connection.

The experience reminded us that our strength isn’t only reflected in the projects we build, but also in the communities we uplift. When people from different teams unite with a common purpose, every small act of kindness creates a lasting impact.

This 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆, we celebrate the spirit of giving and thank every volunteer who embodied CHCE’s commitment to building a more inclusive and caring community.

𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

Throughout June, Makna Setia Sdn Bhd, one of Chin Hin Construction Engineering's (CHCE) four key business pillars, successfully organised the inaugural HSE Awareness Campaign Month 2026 at the Avantro Residence Project.

The campaign united employees, contractors and project stakeholders through initiatives that strengthened workplace safety, employee wellbeing and environmental responsibility, including:

• PPE Awareness Programme
• Celebration of 1 Million Hours Without Lost Time Injury
• Aerobics Exercise Session
• 3R Sustainability Week
• Mega Housekeeping Initiative

The campaign concluded with a closing ceremony attended by:

𝘾𝙃𝘾𝙀 𝙌𝟭𝙁𝙔𝟮𝟲 𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡: 𝘿𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣

CHCE kicked off a meaningful staff engagement session through its Q1FY26 Townhall held on 29 April 2026. During the session, Khor Kai Fu, Group Chief Executive Officer, shared the division’s strategic blueprint, Critical Success Factors (CSFs), as well as key business and performance highlights.

Leaders including Ts. Ang Boon Kwang, William Tan, and Mandiss Wai also presented updates on project progress and financial performance, reflecting strong momentum towards achieving CHCE’s FY2026 goals.

In addition, Howard Liew shared his reflections based on the 7 Leadership Principles of Chin Hin Group:

1. We focus on customer delight
2. We have a bias for action
3. We always set high standards
4. We embrace challenges with positivity
5. We hire & develop talents with the right ability & fit
6. 7. We disagree with respect, then commit in unity
We uphold transparency

Emphasising the principles of setting high standards and having a bias for action, he highlighted how constructive concern and AI integration within the business can enhance problem-solving, strengthen decision-making, improve risk detection, and encourage more proactive actions across teams.

Overall, the management and team at CHCE remain united in driving excellence and building a more connected, agile, and high-performance ecosystem.
