Across Southeast Asia, Bosch is nurturing the next generation of tech talent by connecting education, and innovation and giving young minds hands-on exposure to real-world challenges and emerging technologies.

• Malaysia – ctrlX Hackathon 2025: 40 students and professionals tackled practical industry-inspired challenges using the ctrlX AUTOMATION platform, guided by Bosch Rexroth and GMI experts, showcasing innovation in industrial automation.

• Vietnam - TechTogether: Your Path to Bosch at Bosch Tech Tour 2025 connected students with Bosch engineers and innovators through interactive sharing sessions and real-world technology insights.

• Thailand – INNOVISION Young Gen 2025: Over 70 participating teams from Thai high schools and universities participated. Six finalist teams explored sustainable technology concepts and presented purpose-driven ideas aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), under the theme “Invented for Life.”

Building on this success, Bosch is looking forward to the next INNOVISION Young Gen 2026 happening in Thailand this year.

Diversity Day 2026 at Bosch Malaysia Headquarters 🌍✨

This year’s celebration came to life through a series of engaging and creative activities that brought our colleagues closer together.

We kicked off the day with interactive games organised by our HR team, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere while encouraging teamwork and connection across different backgrounds.

Following this, the creativity continued with painting sessions, where colleagues expressed their unique perspectives, followed by photoshoot sessions that captured these meaningful and vibrant moments.

A big thank you to our HR team for thoughtfully curating such a meaningful event.

🇲🇾 Happy National Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Day

As Malaysia works towards its ambition of developing 60,000 highly skilled engineers annually by 2030, Bosch continues to support talent development through vocational training, industry-academia collaboration, and STEM education initiatives.

🏛️ Contributing industry input as a member of Malaysia's National TVET Council
🔧 Supporting vocational training through the German Dual Vocational Training (GDVT) programme
🎓 Collaborating with institutions such as GMI, KISMEC, PSDC, and Penang Science Cluster to strengthen industry-relevant skills

As part of Malaysia's ongoing efforts to strengthen its talent pipeline and future workforce, TVET 2.0 was recently introduced at the National TVET Council (MTVET) meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and MTVET Chairman, YAB Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Officially unveiled today on National TVET Day, TVET 2.0 places greater emphasis on emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), Renewable Energy, Electric Vehicles (EV), Electronic Technology, and Advanced Materials, ensuring talent development remains aligned with future industry needs.

By bringing industry closer to education and creating more opportunities for continuous skills development, Malaysia is taking an important step towards preparing highly skilled and competitive workforce for the evolving needs of the future economy.

Thank you to the policymakers, educators, trainers, industry partners, and students who are helping build Malaysia's future workforce. 🇲🇾

As digitalisation transforms Southeast Asia's industries, the demand for future-ready skills has never been greater. Bosch is working closely with vocational institutions across the region to encourage and equip students and apprentices for careers in advanced manufacturing and emerging technologies.

Indonesia
Bosch Rexroth is working with various vocational institutions to share knowledge from our industry experts and let students experience hands-on learning.

Malaysia
Bosch is a founding partner of the German-Malaysian Dual Vocational Training Program, in collaboration with the Penang Skills Development Centre, and the Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce. Over the past decade, over 300 graduates were trained at Bosch Mobility Plant in Penang with advanced manufacturing skill sets.

Singapore
Bosch Rexroth Training Centre, together with NTUC LearningHub and local polytechnics, delivers courses in robotics, cybersecurity, and advanced manufacturing to prepare students for Industry 4.0 careers.

Thailand
Bosch Thailand supports the German-Thai Dual Excellence Education (GTDEE) program, bridging classroom learning with hands-on experience in automation and smart manufacturing to build a sustainable, future-ready workforce.

Vietnam
The Ho Chi Minh City Dual Vocational Training Program trains apprentices to build a high-quality workforce, supporting Vietnam’s goal to become a regional AI innovation hub by 2030.
