🇲🇾 Happy National Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Day
As Malaysia works towards its ambition of developing 60,000 highly skilled engineers annually by 2030, Bosch continues to support talent development through vocational training, industry-academia collaboration, and STEM education initiatives.
🏛️ Contributing industry input as a member of Malaysia's National TVET Council
🔧 Supporting vocational training through the German Dual Vocational Training (GDVT) programme
🎓 Collaborating with institutions such as GMI, KISMEC, PSDC, and Penang Science Cluster to strengthen industry-relevant skills
As part of Malaysia's ongoing efforts to strengthen its talent pipeline and future workforce, TVET 2.0 was recently introduced at the National TVET Council (MTVET) meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and MTVET Chairman, YAB Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Officially unveiled today on National TVET Day, TVET 2.0 places greater emphasis on emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), Renewable Energy, Electric Vehicles (EV), Electronic Technology, and Advanced Materials, ensuring talent development remains aligned with future industry needs.
By bringing industry closer to education and creating more opportunities for continuous skills development, Malaysia is taking an important step towards preparing highly skilled and competitive workforce for the evolving needs of the future economy.
