𝗩𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗳𝗱𝗸𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗶𝘁🏢

Tijdens de AWL Tech Days verwelkomden we klanten en partners van over de hele wereld voor twee dagen vol inspirerende presentaties, live demonstraties op de werkvloer en waardevolle gesprekken over de toekomst van automatisering.

Ook ontvingen we samen met OSV professionals uit de foodindustrie. Tijdens dit bedrijfsbezoek stonden praktische toepassingen van automatisering, robotisering, vision en AI centraal en gingen we met elkaar in gesprek over hoe deze technologieën vandaag al worden ingezet binnen de sector.

Daarnaast stelden we onze deuren open voor een bijeenkomst van Innovatiehuis Noord-Veluwe, waarbij innovatieve ondernemers uit de regio Noord-Veluwe en Randmeren samenkwamen voor de Veluwse Innovatieprijs (VIP).

In totaal mochten we zo’n 250 gasten ontvangen. Drie verschillende evenementen, drie verschillende doelgroepen, maar telkens stond hetzelfde centraal: mensen bij elkaar brengen, kennis delen en van elkaar leren.

Opvallend was dat, ondanks de verschillende doelgroepen, dezelfde thema's steeds terugkwamen: de impact van technologische ontwikkelingen, de krapte op de arbeidsmarkt en de vraag hoe we samen slimmer en toekomstbestendig kunnen blijven werken.

𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐖𝐋 𝐂𝐙 🎉

This Sunday, we celebrated an important milestone: 20 years of AWL CZ.

When AWL opened its doors in the Czech Republic in 2006, it became the first AWL location outside the Netherlands. What started as a single international step grew into the global footprint we know today.

Over the past two decades, AWL-Techniek CZ sro has become an essential part of our organization, contributing expertise, innovation, and dedication to customers and projects around the world.

As part of the celebration, Alexander Mulder, co-CEO AWL, presented a token of appreciation to Martin Balsan, Managing Director of AWL CZ, in recognition of this milestone and the contribution of the entire AWL CZ team.

This anniversary is first and foremost a tribute to the people who made it possible. Their commitment, craftsmanship, and teamwork have helped shape not only AWL CZ, but AWL as a group.

We are proud of everything we have achieved together and look forward to the next chapter.

Congratulations to all colleagues in the Czech Republic on this remarkable milestone!

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴?🚛

Quite a lot, actually.

Before joining AWL, Lars worked on a garbage truck and later on a crane truck. It taught him to stay calm when things do not go to plan, to keep moving under pressure and to focus on what really matters.

He still brings that same mindset to his work today.

As a Content Creator at AWL, Lars works closely with engineers and technical specialists to make complex automation clear and relevant. Because technology alone is never the goal. The real value lies in what it enables: less manual work, greater efficiency, better ergonomics and stronger competitiveness.

Lars’ journey shows that you do not need to have everything figured out from day one. Sometimes the most valuable experience comes from the path you did not expect.

Especially in high-volume production environments, manufacturers want faster access to production data, more visibility throughout the process, and quicker root cause analysis when issues occur.

In flexible automation, a robot is just part of the total system. It does not define how flexible your solution really is.

The real complexity often lies underneath:
• software logic
• product variation handling
• exception handling
• vision integration
• line orchestration

Whether in production or intralogistics, flexibility must be engineered and programmed from the start, not added later.

The real challenge is no longer the standard flow, but handling exceptions to ensure consistent performance in real environments. Automation is not about just making it work; it’s about making it robust.

And that engineering and programming depth behind it is often underestimated.
