Liqcreate Tray will be available in six days as a CE Class 1 registered resin for producing custom dental impression trays. This registration confirms that the material meets the regulatory requirements for safe use in dental applications across a broad range of European countries.

The workflow for custom impression trays becomes straightforward with Liqcreate Tray. The material prints quickly at 200 micron layer height and delivers strong and rigid parts that support stable impressions. After printing, parts can be washed, post cured and disinfected with commonly used agents. This combination of speed, strength and validated hygiene steps supports efficient production of trays for implant cases, dentures, crowns, bridges and other advanced treatments.

Liqcreate Tray is compatible with a wide range of DLP, MSLA and laser based 3D printers operating at 385 to 405 nm. Printer settings and documentation are available on our website.

Something new is coming on 7 September. We will introduce its first dental Class 1 registered resin, designed specifically for producing custom impression trays. This registration confirms that the material meets the regulatory requirements for safe use in dental workflows across many European countries, supporting consistent and reliable performance in daily clinical practice.

Liqcreate Tray is compatible with a broad range of resin 3D printers. Professional systems such as Asiga, Prusa, Raise3D, Phrozen, are supported, as well as many entry level MSLA printers from Anycubic, Elegoo, Creality and Uniformation. This wide compatibility ensures that dental professionals can adopt the material on existing equipment without changing their workflow or hardware setup.

More information will follow as we approach the launch date.

Liqcreate Rigid Pro is a high‑performance engineering resin designed for parts that require stiffness, accuracy and long‑term dimensional stability. It delivers high stiffness, sharp detail reproduction and reliable dimensional stability thanks to a modulus around 2,9 to 3,2 GPa, tensile strength near 60 MPa and low shrinkage during curing. Its low viscosity supports smooth layer formation and consistent accuracy, even on demanding technical parts.

Rigid Pro also performs exceptionally well on large‑format MSLA printers such as the ANYCUBIC Photon M3 Max. The combination of stable curing behavior and low warpage makes it suitable for oversized functional prototypes, jigs, fixtures and precision components that need to maintain geometry across a big build area. A solid choice when you need rigidity, accuracy and repeatability in resin 3D‑printing.

Soft‑tissue simulation is an essential part of implant model workflows, and resin 3D‑printing makes this process fast, consistent and highly accurate. With Liqcreate Gingiva Mask, dental labs can produce flexible gingiva mask pieces that fit precisely around implant interfaces and support predictable seating behavior.

The photos show implant models fitted with Gingiva Mask components, highlighting precise interface geometry and controlled flexibility. A full build plate of Gingiva Mask parts can be produced in a single print run, ready for post‑processing and integration into implant model workflows.

The combination of controlled flexibility, sharp detail reproduction and reliable dimensional behavior makes Gingiva Mask a strong material for daily implant model production.

Bringing Bronze Art Into the Digital Age with resin 3D-printing.

Bronze casting is one of the oldest artistic traditions, used for centuries to create sculptures that carry cultural and spiritual meaning. Think of Bertel Thorvaldsen’s The Angel in Copenhagen’s Vor Frue Church, welcoming visitors at the altar and symbolizing community through baptism. Artists like Thorvaldsen and Canova shaped an era in which bronze became a timeless medium for storytelling.

Today, that same tradition is evolving through digital fabrication. By 3D‑printing wax models with high‑precision materials such as Liqcreate Wax Castable, creators can produce detailed patterns that burn out cleanly and allow for highly accurate bronze castings. The workflow remains true to the classic lost‑wax method with some minor midifications: print the wax model, invest, burn out, and pour molten bronze. What changes is the level of control, repeatability and freedom in design.

A great example comes from ANAFoundry, a studio built on passion for bronze art and the science behind casting. Founder Bill began with hand‑carved wax pieces and quickly discovered the challenges of casting pure copper. As he explains, “If copper was easy to cast, it would have been called the copper age, not the bronze age.” After experimenting with sand casting, FDM patterns and traditional wax carving, ANAFoundry embraced resin 3D‑printing to achieve consistent, high‑quality results.

Today, Bill casts most pieces in bronze, often using Everdur silicon bronze, the alloy of choice for many sculptors. With 3D‑printed wax models, ANAFoundry can sculpt digitally, print reliably and cast artworks that merge craftsmanship with modern technology.

This blend of heritage and innovation shows how digital tools can strengthen, not replace, traditional artistry. Bronze art continues to evolve, and 3D‑printed wax models are becoming an essential part of that journey.
