Liqcreate collaborated with Fontys University of Applied Sciences to evaluate the long‑term adhesion and survival of Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Candida albicans on Bio‑Med Clear, a biocompatible 3D‑printing resin.
All three micro‑organisms remained viable and continued to adhere to the 3D‑printed material for up to three weeks, even under nutrient‑limited conditions. These results support the relevance of Bio‑Med Clear for biomedical applications where interaction with the oral microbiome is an important factor.
