The oak processionary moth is more than just a seasonal past. It poses a serious health risk for professionals working in green spaces, forestry, and public environments.

Its microscopic urticating hairs can cause skin irritation, eye inflammation and respiratory issues, making proper protection and control measures essential during inspection and removal activities.

Working safely starts with awareness, trained personnel and the right personal protective equipment (PPE).

We’ve outlined the key risks and the required PPE for safe removal in our latest knowledge article.
