Photos of my recent trip to the Deepstream Hydro Intake,part of the Contact Energy Waipori Hydro Scheme, north-west of Dunedin, to survey for the design of some new Steel/ Aluminium walkways over the intake pipes to improve the safety of maintenance/ monitoring personnel. One of the pipes is through a narrow rocky stream gorge, so will be a challenging install. Its a stunning location with high tussock lands and schist outcrops with deep gorges cut into it.

The Old Staveley Dairy Factory Building has been restored and extended to create a stunning new wedding venue in Staveley. Lysaght & Associates are proud to have designed the seismic strengthening to the building and the extension containing a kitchen and toilet facilities. Shout out to Naish Building for the building work. We love the finish to the interior of the building and the photos of its history displayed and the use of honey tins under the bar.
