A massive congrats to Paddy on completing his Engineering Apprenticeship through PMR! 👏🔧

Paddy first joined the team back in 2020 and soon found his groove in the workshop. Since then, he’s put in the hard yards, learnt plenty along the way, and become a bloody good member of the PMR crew.

We’re proud as punch of you, Paddy! All the best for what’s ahead, mate. You’ve earned it 🙌🏻

Last week Boss Tom headed to Imola, Italy, for the Cimbria dealer meeting. Tom had a great couple of days catching up with people from around the world, sharing ideas and seeing what’s new in the world of seed cleaning.

One of the highlights was getting a look at Cimbria’s new SEA.XE optical sorter. Taking another step forward in its already world-leading optical sorting technology.

It was also great to finally meet some of the Cimbria team face-to-face after years of working together from opposite sides of the world.

A big thanks to the Cimbria team for the invite and for looking after everyone so well!

Now it’s back to the regular diet of grain, machinery and engineering… and probably a few less pizzas, pastas and glasses of w**e 🤭🇮🇹🍝🍕🍷

Planning an in-shed feed system for 2027?

PMR Grain Systems is your local supplier for new in-shed feed systems, upgrades, servicing and maintenance.

We’re a team of skilled engineers who believe in doing business properly - standing by our work, our word and our handshake.

Our customers are at the centre of everything we do. That means you won’t find one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter systems here. We work alongside each farmer to understand their operation and design a system that works for their shed, their herd and the way they farm.

And our support doesn’t end once the system is installed. If a problem arises, getting our customer back up and running is the priority.

We work hard to keep costs fair while supplying quality equipment designed to stand up to New Zealand farming conditions.

Our in-shed feed solutions include:

• SKIOLD Disc Mills
• PMR Fluidisers
• PMR Mineral Dispensers
• Dan Cosgrove Silos
• PMR × Mysilo silo range
• The PMR Magnet Pack 🧲 the original feed-system magnet pack brought to the NZ market!

If an in-shed feed system or upgrade is on the cards for 2027, talk to the PMR team early.

Another reason to get glammed up recently was being chosen as a supplier to head along to the Rylib Group Awards 2026 at Terrace Downs! ✨

It was great to support an event that celebrates and recognises the achievements of the employees and farms across the Rylib Group.

And, of course, it was a pretty fun evening spending time with a customer group we really value! 🍾🥂

Thanks for having us Rylib Group

Having problems with bridging in your feed silo?

It may be worth checking whether your flow-aid system has been correctly designed and installed.

We’ve seen plenty of Fluidiser systems that haven’t been designed, installed or maintained correctly - and the result can be bridging rather than the consistent feed flow you’re looking for.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Bailey Electrical Ashburton to ensure our PMR Fluidiser systems are carefully designed and installed to overcome the common problems experienced with flow aids.
