Our machine shop recently completed these heavy-duty hinges to operate the main intake gates at the Branch River Power Scheme in the Wairau Valley.

We machined two of these units (one for the Wairau station and one for the Argyle station). When you are dealing with hydro infrastructure, parts need to be built to withstand immense pressure and machined to exact tolerances.

Our machine shop recently completed these heavy-duty hinges to operate the main intake gates at the Branch River Power Scheme in the Wairau Valley.

Clean, safe drinking water is something most workplaces take for granted. We were glad to be able to support the Kārearea Falcon Trust recently by donating and installing a 3-stage UV water filter system for their facility.

This upgrade gives their team safe on-site drinking water for the very first time, allowing them to focus on the important conservation work they do for our native Kārearea.

Great effort by Tobias McGill for facilitating the project and getting the system up and running.

We recently hosted Ministers Scott Simpson MP and Stuart Smith MP for a site visit.

Itā€™s always valuable having government representatives on the ground to discuss the everyday realities and challenges of our sector firsthand. We also appreciated the chance to highlight the R&D and export work happening right here in the region.

Who says engineering is just an indoor job?

Our team was out in the Marlborough Sounds this week, keeping local aquaculture operations running smoothly.

Itā€™s a privilege to work in such a great environment, but the salt air doesn't mean we drop our guard. From the welding helmet to the protective gear, we suit up fully to perform the job safely and precisely no matter how remote the site is.

When it comes to ammonia pipework, there is no room for error. Thatā€™s why our team operates to strict ASME IX welding qualifications.

In these photos, you can see them fabricating custom pipework in the workshop. The pipe featuring the white contrast paint is undergoing rigorous conformity testing, including Dye-Penetrant and X-Ray inspection, to ensure the welds are flawless before they ever reach the site.

Our certified welders work with both mild and stainless steel to suit specific requirements. Once these units are prefabricated and tested in our workshop, we transport them for installation on-site.

When one of our customers switched tractor brands recently, they ran into an unexpected issue: their top-heavy vineyard trimmers were moving around way too much on the new mount.

Standard setups just weren't cutting it. So, we designed and fabricated these custom Stabiliser Bars.

Featuring adjustable tie bars, this system locks the equipment in place, preventing that dangerous sway and protecting the gear. While designed for trimmers, weā€™ve found these are just as effective for stabilising leaf pluckers and sweepers.
