That's a wrap on Matokitoki! 🚧✅

The crew sealed the deal last week, literally, finishing off the road and closing out the site. This one threw everything at us with tough conditions and more curveballs than we could count. But the boys put in the hard mahi and got it over the line.

New timber pole retaining wall, scour protection along the stream, fresh guardrail and a brand new seal. Nothing gets past our boys! 💪

Huge thanks to the whole team for their effort on this one.

Ever watched asphalt being laid up close? 🔥

It's fast, hot, and there's zero room to stop. Once the mix hits the ground, the crew has to spread, shape and roll it before it cools, or it all falls apart.

Hard mahi in the heat, done with real precision.

The crew have been putting their new height safety training to work out at our Waimata Road site, getting those finishing touches sorted on the batter. Nothing like a rope, a slope and a bit of Gissy drizzle to test the gear out properly!

Massive shout out to the team at Out East Contracting Ltd for the hydroseeding, that green is looking mean. Reckon we're all quietly wishing we could get that laid down on our lawns at home 😅

A massive congratulations to Marsh (Oren) who has just clocked up 10 incredible years with Siteworx! 👏

We got the team together yesterday morning to mark this special milestone, and the bosses presented Marsh with a $5,000 cheque as a thank you for a decade of dedication. Well deserved, man!

Marsh is the glue that holds this crew together. Over the years he's mentored nearly every person who's come through our doors, always leading by example and giving his all. His hard work and the difference he makes never go unnoticed 💪

Got it done before the rain! 🌧️

Anyone in civil will tell you patience is the name of the game. So much of our work comes down to the weather, and yesterday was a good example.

The crew smashed out a sealing job just before the rain came in. With sealing it's all about timing, get it down before the wet hits and you're sweet. Miss the window and you're starting over.

Good on the boys for reading the conditions and getting it across the line.
