How hard is a cricket ball? We got a first grade cricketer to find out.
Three boards: Fibro (fibre cement), Plaster (plasterboard) and saveBOARD.
Fibro and plasterboard were out for Ducks, with a hole straight through and on to stumps. saveBOARD stayed at the crease and the ball bounced off.
Cricket season is here. Your walls should be ready too.

What does a circular economy actually look like? Here’s a real one.

Woolworths is renewing supermarkets on a regular basis. Instead of virgin materials, they use their own emerald green saveBOARD panels at self-checkouts, trolley bays and milk fridges. The cartons and soft plastics come from supermarkets, and Woolworths buys what we make from them.

Ever wondered where your soft plastics end up? ♻️

Drop them at the supermarket and they could land at our saveBOARD factory in NZ or Australia. We mix them with food and beverage cartons and make building boards. Each one saves around 25kg of waste from landfill.

Recycling only works when someone buys the end product. So buy recycled first.

Real life durability testing. Don’t try this at home.
My son rode his bike over me, with saveBOARD as the ramp. All in the name of science.
It’s closer to flexible plywood than plasterboard. It doesn’t dent easily, it’s hard to mark, and it bends to 90 degrees before it breaks.
No humans were hurt, but it’s not a recommended application.

Not every project goes to plan. That sad face on our production line is proof.

Recently a client's betterJOINERY shelves ran past the max span of 600mm and needed reinforcing so they wouldn't bow. We provided the extra material to make it right at no cost to them.

He said we "really came to the party" and he'll use us again.

We didn't make money on making it right, however we made a long term customer.

Gold at the 2026 Australian Good Design Awards for Milliken’s Renasci.
Commercial flooring made from 80% reclaimed carpet waste and 20% soft plastics, and recyclable at end of life. It took us two-years of development to commercialise while forming a lasting partnership and we’re proud to see it recognised.
Congratulations to the Milliken & Company ANZ team.

How do you know where your soft plastics and cartons actually end up?

Every delivery to our factory is weighed, logged and given a unique ID. Every batch we make is recorded, so we can trace it from the original feedstock to the finished product and the client it went to.

We even take offcuts and end-of-life returns back and remanufacture them into new products. That's the loop, we try and achieve for our clients.
