It’s Women in Construction Week and today we’re shining a spotlight on Catherine, Systems, Processes and Quality Lead at TW Construction.
In her role, Catherine supports the way our teams work across the business. She helps design and refine workflows, supports Jobpac and Procore processes, and ensures our systems are clear and consistent. She also plays an important part in maintaining quality standards so our teams have the structure and documentation they need to deliver reliable, high‑quality outcomes.
What drew Catherine to construction is the practical, people‑focused nature of the industry. She enjoys helping teams learn, improving processes and seeing real impact from small changes that make everyday work smoother. The mix of problem solving, teamwork and continuous improvement is what makes the role meaningful to her.
Catherine wishes more people knew that construction is not just for men or only for builders and tradies. The industry offers an incredible variety of roles, from on‑site delivery to technical, operational and leadership positions, and there is space for many different strengths and skill sets. “I am proud to work for a company where women are represented right across the business, whether that is on site, in the trades, in project and operational roles or in senior leadership. Construction is a place where women can thrive at every level, and where capability, contribution and passion matter more than stereotypes.”
If you are considering a career in construction, Catherine encourages you to back yourself. Ask questions, keep learning and surround yourself with people who support your growth. Your perspective and skills are valuable, and there is a place for them in this industry.
Thank you, Catherine! Up next is Lauren.
