Round three is coming to Christchurch!

The third round of the Wallie Askew Memorial Workskills Competition takes place this Saturday at our Steelfort Christchurch Store.

After two great rounds, our talented HVAC&R apprentices will put their technical skills, knowledge and problem-solving abilities to the test once again.

Join us for another great day showcasing the skills and dedication of the next generation of HVAC&R talent.

Round two is coming to Palmerston North!

The Wallie Askew Memorial Workskills Competition continues this Saturday, 8 August, at Steelfort Head Office, bringing together some of New Zealand’s top HVAC&R apprentices as they put their skills, knowledge, and problem-solving abilities to the test.

We’re excited to continue showcasing the next generation of industry talent and celebrate the dedication of these future leaders.

A huge congratulations to all competitors who took part in the Regional Apprentice Competition at our Steelfort Outlet Store in Auckland this past Saturday! 👏

It was fantastic to see New Zealand’s top refrigeration and air conditioning apprentices showcase their skills and knowledge across a range of challenges.

A big thank you to our judges, volunteers, and major sponsor Realcold for helping make this event possible. Congratulations to everyone involved , we’re proud to support the next generation of our industry!

Auckland! Will we see you there?

Tomorrow, 1 August, we'll be hosting the Wallie Askew Memorial Workskills Competition – where some of New Zealand's top HVAC&R apprentices will put their skills, knowledge, and problem-solving abilities to the test🔧

The Wallie Askew competition has been supporting and showcasing emerging talent since 1999, giving young apprentices the opportunity to challenge themselves, connect with the industry, and even begin the pathway towards representing New Zealand at WorldSkills.

What a great three days! 👏

A huge thank you to our partners at Sunseeker for travelling all the way from China to deliver robotics training to our dealer network in Auckland, Palmerston North, and Christchurch.

It was fantastic to learn more about the technology behind the LawnMaster robotic mower range and spend time with our dealers. Thanks to our dealers who joined us—we're excited for what's ahead!
