Waterjets range in cutting pressures from 30,000psi – 60,000psi, this pressure alone directed through a fine nozzle (Jetstream) is often enough to cut through some soft materials – foam, rubber. The only difference between Water-Only and Abrasive Waterjet cutting is the addition of a cutting median, which is usually garnet. There are no “tool changes” required to switch between water only and Abrasive cutting, only a different quality of cut in the Intelli-Max machining software.

Raquel keeps PMT running smoothly behind the scenes. With nearly a decade of administration experience in the engineering sector, she brings a sharp eye for detail and a strong understanding of the accuracy required in specialised manufacturing. Handling everything from general enquiries to accounts, Raquel is often the first point of contact at PMT and is always ready to guide customers in the right direction. We’ve recently expanded the PMT range!

We’ve acquired Coastal Machinery, a well-established importer and supplier of engineering machine tools, accessories, and tooling - now fully integrated into the PMT offering. Alongside that, the Senfeng range is also now live, bringing advanced fabrication solutions such as laser cutting, laser welding, panel bending, and press brakes.
