Tank 0039 was built by Carlos in August 2013 and it has just come back into our workshop for a refurbishment.

Carlos has also just finished tank 4939. That's 13 years, 1 month and 15 days between the two.

Well-built tanks are meant to last, and when the time comes they can be refurbished instead of replaced.

We’ve just wrapped up a job in Hanmer Springs, supplying and installing stainless steel pipework to feed the day tanks inside three containerised Eneraque generators for MainPower. All welded and fitted on site.

Big thanks to the team at MDS Engineering Solutions in Hokitika, our very own Bailey Symonds for the site works, and Eneraque for managing the project from Australia.

Great result from our first Trading Standards audit ✅

Our Fuel Storage team now has two additional Accredited Persons (APs) qualified to carry out TMU work, which means they're authorised to verify and calibrate fuel pumps and dispensers.

For our customers, that's another job we can take care of for you, from the same team that knows your fuel setup. If you need your pumps or dispensers checked, send us a message or give the team a call.

We've just installed a 20,000-litre tank for Fulton Hogan at their bitumen plant, at Port of Nelson.

It marks the first significant installation since we established our Nelson branch, and we're looking forward to building on that momentum with more projects across the region.

This video shows the Vulcan fire-rated fuel tank going through a 4-hour furnace test at 1100°C, full ballistic testing, and then took a direct impact hit.

What you see marked up on the steel isn't from the impact alone, it's the cumulative result of everything the tank had already been through by that point.

That's what we mean by 'fire rated', a tank proven to hold up under worst-case conditions.

Great to see this project complete at Kiwi Lumber Mangatawhiri. Thanks to the Allied Petroleum team for another great project to be part of.

We're keeping the team at Kiwi Lumber Mangatawhiri moving with a new 10,000L fuel tank and 2,000L AdBlue tank for their yard. The addition of an Everlink Fuel System supports end-to-end management of their daily fuel needs alongside Allied Petroleum's operational teams and systems to ensure reliable and efficient fuel supply for their operations. ⛽️

Before: a standard dispenser.

After: the same site, now with Everlink control added to the existing infrastructure.

This site already had dispensing infrastructure in place. By adding Everlink control, they’ve turned an existing setup into something far easier to manage, track, and report on.

It wasn’t the first Everlink product on site, but it was a logical next step. Once customers start using the wider ecosystem and seeing the value of having their fuel data, access control, and reporting under one umbrella, adding more capability starts to make a lot of sense.

The team were recently called out urgently to a remote forestry site to investigate a slow flow rate issue impacting operations.

Despite the remote location, our team was onsite within 2 hours of the call and had the customer back up and running the very same day.

That’s what our servicing team is built for. Fast response times, practical problem solving, and getting customers back to work with minimal downtime.

There’s been a bit more focus on fuel lately, and it’s a good reminder to take a look at your fuel storage setup.

We’re coming across sites where tanks are:

> undersized for current use
> no longer compliant
> or due for an upgrade

Having reliable, compliant fuel storage in place means one less thing to worry about when things get busy.

If your tank setup hasn’t been looked at in a while, it might be time.
