Renovating a Wellington villa is always a bit of a journey.

Before the light, the space, and the finished details… there’s this stage.

Opening things up properly so the new plan can take shape.

With homes like this Hataitai villa, it’s all about balance. Respecting the original character while making it work for how we live today.

Because let’s be honest, a lot of these homes weren’t built for modern living.
That’s where good renovations make all the difference. Opening them up, bringing in light, and giving them a new lease on life.

This is exactly what we love doing. Thoughtful renovations, done properly, that keep the character but completely transform how a home functions day to day.

Base course down, underfloor insulation in, steel next - then it’s concrete pour time. Good foundations done right.

Sometimes things have to fall apart before they can come together.

Out with the old, small kitchen and in with a new concrete pad that will form the base for a much bigger, open-plan family space.

Excited to see this one take shape over the coming weeks.
