Science New Zealand congratulates Callaghan Innovation distinguished scientist Dr Keith Jones for being named a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2024 King’s Birthday Honours. Scion principal scientist Dr Brian Richardson was this week awarded with the Minister’s Biosecurity Award at the annual NZ Biosecurity Awards at Parliament.

𝐍𝐙 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐧 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬

Scientific collaboration between NZ and France has received a shot in the arm with 12 new applied science projects set to start.
The projects are the first under a multi-year co-operation agreement between the two countries. More than 30 scientists will be exchanged under the programme.
