Just finished transforming this deck. The old one was a patchwork job and in some desperate need of some attention. The team worked wonders, fixing the structure, laying a new substrate and membrane, and installing a new balustrade system. All while dealing with the wind and rain over the past. few weeks.

Te Whanganui-a-Tara really took a hammering, and we didn’t get off completely unscathed either. Can’t beat Welly on a windy day.

Big appreciation for the humble retaining walls that quietly keep our city standing strong. Luckily, sorting them out (or giving them a freshen-up) is something we’re pretty well accustomed to.

Beautiful morning is Island Bay. We are back to work after a fantastic holiday break. The team made some epic progress prior to Christmas and now it’s time to get this project clad. Bring on the roof shout !!

- 38 posts drilled at 2m deep
- 8m3 of soft sand Hydro excavated
