What started as a simple deck re-lay turned into a full rebuild.

Once we lifted the old boards we found the framing was completely rotten — it had been built sitting directly in the dirt. Not ideal.

After a chat with the owner we decided to do it properly and start fresh. New framing, new stairs, new fence and gate.

Finished it with a breaker detail in the decking which tied everything together nicely.

Now this deck should be good for another 50 years.

Quick little in and out job.
This window had MDF reveals and was located in a bathroom. After years of moister they had become swollen and brittle.
We replaced then with pre-primed pine reveals which will last a lot better.
