The Industrialists Association Peshawar (IAP) organized a briefing session at its office, which was held under a facilitation arrangement offered by Green Bridge Business Consultant for the association members.

The purpose of the session was to inform those members who had shown interest in installing solar systems for their industries or homes and in obtaining financing facilities for the same. The company introduced various packages with installment plans ranging from 2 to 10 years.

The session was held on Thursday, 21 May 2026 at the IAP office, and was attended by representatives of Green Bridge Business Consultant, Mr. Amir Ali Khan (Managing Partner) and Mr. Fawad Khan (Managing Partner). In addition, interested members of IAP also participated in the session.

During the session, a detailed presentation was given to the participants, followed by a question-and-answer segment in which members’ queries and concerns were discussed.

On the request of the Industrialists Association Peshawar (IAP), a team from the Excise and Taxation Department was invited to the IAP office, as invoices/notices had been issued to member industries a few days earlier. The purpose of this meeting was to address and resolve the concerns and issues of the members on the spot.

In light of the directions of Excise and Taxation Officer-III Peshawar, Dr. Zahid Iqbal, Inspector Riaz and his team attended the meeting, while Senior Vice President Mr. Haris M***i also represented the Association.

More than 25 members from the member industries participated in the meeting, and their concerns and issues were resolved on the spot.

Furthermore, the Excise and Taxation Officer-III directed that those members who have received invoices and agree with them should submit their invoices by 30th June, so that clearance certificates may subsequently be issued by the Excise and Taxation Department.

A joint meeting of IAP & SCCI was held with Dr. Zahid Iqbal (Excise & Taxation Officer-III, Peshawar) along with his team at the IAP Office. The meeting was jointly chaired by Mr. Junaid Altaf (President, SCCI) and Mr. Ayub Zakori (President, IAP).

Key Highlights:
Detailed discussion on industrial property tax, challans & related issues.
On-the-spot resolution of multiple member concerns.
100% digitization of Hayatabad Industrial Estate data on MIS.
Introduction of online challan submission via PSID system for ease & transparency.

President of Sarhad Chamber, Mr. Junaid Altaf, and Vice President, Mr. Sabir Ahmed Bangash, met with Chief Traffic Officer, Dr. Zahidullah. On this occasion, former Vice President of the Chamber and Senior Vice President of the Industrialists Association, Mr. Haris M***i, along with Executive Committee Member, Mr. Abbas Fawad Azeem, were also present.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding heavy traffic issues at the entry and exit points of the Industrial Estate, as well as traffic-related challenges within the city, including Saddar, University Road, and the movement of vehicles associated with industries. Furthermore, discussions also took place on heavy fines imposed on large vehicles and other related matters.

In addition, the uninterrupted 24-hour movement of industrial vehicles was also discussed.

A meet & greet session was held with the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of KPEZDMC, Mr. Shaheryar Gul, along with senior officials and President SCCI, Mr. Junaid Altaf, during his visit to the IAP Office on Wednesday, 29th April 2026.

An important meeting was held at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines under the chairmanship of CCPO Peshawar, Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad, with the participation of all DRC Chairmen and Secretaries.

From the Industrialist Association Peshawar (IAP), Mr. Farhad Asfandiyar (Vice President IAP) and Mr. Wasi Ullah (Secretary IAP) participated in the meeting.

The session focused on strengthening the role and effectiveness of Dispute Resolution Councils (DRCs) to ensure better facilitation and swift resolution of public grievances.

Positive Progress on the Heavy Vehicles Issue

Thanks to the efforts of our President, Mr. Ayub Khan Zakori (IAP), and Mr. Junaid Altaf (President, Sarhad Chamber of Commerce Peshawar), positive progress was made today regarding the movement of heavy vehicles on Takhta Baq Road during daytime hours.

The DSP Traffic and the in-charge visited the Association office and held a meeting with President Ayub Khan Zakori. Immediately after the meeting, all industrial vehicles were allowed to pass, and it was decided that these vehicles will now be allowed to use this route 24 hours a day.

Our Senior Vice President, Mr. Haris M***i, industry representatives, and members of the Transport Association were also present at the meeting.
