Sensory deviations can compromise a consistent wine experience.

Using fast gas chromatography, NDtech® analyses each natural cork stopper in just a few seconds. The technology detects releasable TCA at or below the 0.5 ng/L quantification limit and removes affected cork stoppers from the supply chain.

The result? Precise quality control and individually verified natural cork stoppers.

What can 450,000 used cork stoppers become?

At Marlboro Houses, a public housing complex in Brooklyn, they have been transformed into new pathways and playground surfaces as part of a pioneering urban regeneration project.

The cork stoppers were collected from restaurants in New York City and beyond by Cork Collective, an initiative launched by Rockwell Group in partnership with Amorim. After being processed, they gained a second life as a material that absorbs stormwater, helps mitigate flooding and provides a non-toxic alternative to conventional playground surfaces.

The project was also shaped by the community, with local children invited to share their ideas for the new play spaces.
