80 Years, 80 Stories | Meet Anton Debelak

Anton Debelak joined Iskra on August 1, 1983 and for more than four decades, he has been part of the people and processes that keep our production moving forward.

He began his journey working in plastics production and today works as a coil winding operator, where precision, focus, and experience play an important role every single day.

One of the biggest changes he witnessed over the years was the relocation from Otoče to Kranj, while one of the things he values most is the opportunity to gain knowledge across different areas of work.

What keeps him motivated after all these years?
“Varied work that is never monotonous.”

When asked what advice he would give to new employees, his answer was simple but powerful:
“Persevere.”

Through our 80 Years, 80 Stories campaign, we are proud to highlight the people whose dedication, knowledge, and loyalty helped shape Iskra across generations. Anton’s story is one of many that reflects the values and spirit behind our company’s long tradition.
