Almost every photo of a villa is taken from the outside. It's worth designing that way too.
We treat the exterior as part of the house rather than as what's left over once it's built. Pools come first, because they're usually the centrepiece — infinity pools where there's a view worth borrowing, lagoon shapes softened by planting, or clean geometric designs for a modern build. All with proper filtration, safety features and finishes that hold up in this climate.
Around them, tropical gardens using native planting that actually belongs here and doesn't need fighting to keep alive. Water features, shaded corners, flowering beds, and a sustainable approach to how it's all maintained.
Then the practical things people forget about until they move in. Carports, garages and private driveways. Perimeter walls and electric gates. Wine cellars, custom closets and utility rooms that look planned rather than squeezed in.
The aim is simple: an outside space that feels like it grew there rather than landed there.
