Beginning next Thursday, September 11, we will begin construction on multiple streets in the Northridge Addition and Railroad Street North of the tracks. See attached picture showing areas of work. Greenfield Court, Lenox Street, Maxine Drive, Oakdale Drive, Francis Street, W Covell Street, Fairfax Court, N Peters Street, N Cowen Street, W Baltimore Street, W Clark Street and E Railroad Street. Milling and Paving operations will take approximately 2 weeks. Please keep cars off of the road during construction.

We just wanted to give a quick thank you to Scott Cole and the Albion Police Department yesterday for helping with traffic control in Albion. Your help was much appreciated. Also, thank you to everyone for your patience. We understand it's frustrating with all of the construction going on in the area but we appreciate everyone's cooperation with our construction crews.

Wanted to ask the publics help with a couple things.

1. Please if your street has any construction going on keep pets either inside or an a leash. We can stop cars and people but dogs are a different story. We had a dog today run out in the street we just paved on asphalt that was most likely 250 degrees. I am sure his paws will blister and be sore for a long time.
2. Please keep small children in site when construction is taking place near your home. We always keep an out out for anyone and anything but kids sometimes don't understand what we are going and what hot asphalt is. Again, we keep an eye on them but had some young kids today that made us a little nervous for a time.
3. If cones are placed in an intersection please don't stop your car, get out, move them, drive on the fresh asphalt. And if you do can you at least set them back up? We won't leave them up for any longer than an hour and only if there is another way around. And just because you can fit your car or motorcycle between the cones doesn't mean you should.
