VERTICON 2026 brought the global vertical aviation community to Atlanta.
This year’s event welcomed 12,852 attendees, 684 exhibitors, and 64 aircraft across 280,000 square feet of exhibit space at the Georgia World Congress Center. Operators, manufacturers, regulators, and aviation professionals gathered to share knowledge, build partnerships, and move the industry forward.
The program featured 24 in-depth Elevation Courses, 66 Foundation Sessions, and 30 technical briefings from OEMs and industry organizations. Workforce programs connected hundreds of transitioning military professionals and job seekers with companies ready to hire.
As VAI President and CEO François Lassale noted, VERTICON is where the industry comes together to strengthen safety, sharpen skills, and conduct business.
Thank you to everyone who helped make VERTICON 2026 a success.
Next stop: VERTICON 2027 in Anaheim, California, March 15–18.

There were no softballs at the fireside chat with VAI President and CEO François Lassale. The industry asked the hard questions, and the resulting discussion highlighted exactly where our ecosystem needs to focus.

Here are the critical takeaways from the conversation:
* Navigating AAM Regulation: Regulators are facing unprecedented challenges in certifying advanced air mobility (AAM) aircraft. François made it clear that VAI must—and will—be an active participant in those conversations to help shape the future of flight.
* The Future Workforce: As the industry evolves, where will the talent come from? A major piece of the puzzle is tapping into the incredible expertise already present in the helicopter industry. But it doesn't stop there—we have to do the work to get kids in schools excited about careers in aviation early on.
* Community Collaboration: We cannot build the future of vertical flight in silos. Driving this ecosystem forward requires joint, transparent conversations across the entire community.
* Uncompromising Safety: Above all the innovation and growth, safety remains the absolute foundation of everything we do.
