Blue Arbor Technologies President Paul Cederna, CMO Theodore Kung, and CTO Alex Vaskov traveled back to Vienna recently to collaborate with Dr. Oskar Aszmann at the Medical University of Veinna. Together, they implanted a second patient with the RESTORE Neuromuscular Interface. Just a couple of days after surgery, the team was able to record strong and reliable volitional motor command signals during testing. The patient is doing great and has been fitted with an Ottobock Dynamic Arm for use at home.

Congratulations to Blue Arbor’s Chief Medical Officer, Theodore Kung, who was inducted this year into the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, the oldest and one of the most prestigious plastic surgery organizations in the world.

Congratulations are also in order for Blue Arbor’s President, Paul Cederna, who served as the President of AAPS for the 104th Annual Meeting. Both presented their work on prosthetic interfaces at the AAPS meeting and shared their vision of how new technologies are going to shape the future of plastic surgery.
