Hours:
Preferred, but flexible: 4:00pm-9:00pm, Monday-Friday

Pay: based on experience + bonus + shift premium

Overview: Our 2nd shift, part-time truck driver will do local deliveries to our customers and occasionally have to operate a forklift. As a Truck Driver, we require you to work in a safety environment manner and comply with state and federal regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Transport finished goods for Konz Wood Products in a safe and efficient manner according to the delivery schedule set by Shipping Supervisor and Production Manager
-Represent Konz Wood Products in a professional and courteous manner.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
-Class A CDL required
-Previous truck driving preferred
-Must be safety conscious and will be be evaluated on driving ability before offer of employment
-Driving record must meet our insurers standards
-Required to pass DOT drug and alcohol testing

Konz Wood Products is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join the team!

As a forklift driver, you will be responsible for the supply and removal of materials to the machinery or department. In addition, the forklift operator is responsible for staging and ensuring material or product is stored correctly.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm

Duties & Responsibilities
•Ensure all machines are supplied with lumber and minimize downtown
•Ensure finished goods are staged and stored after completion
•Monitor quality of products generated in the department
•Operator forklift in a safe manner and be in compliance with OSHA regulations

Requirements
•3+ years of forklift operation in a manufacturing setting required
•Ability to work well with others

Hours: 7:00a-4:30p

In our recycle department and as a Pallet Rebuilder, you will performing all sorts of pallet operations related our recycling pallets including building, repairing, dismantling, cutting, stacking, and more. You will use tools and equipment safety to help assist you in your job.

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Build new and used pallets
-Repair and dismantle pallets
-Cut wood and stack properly according to pallet facility guidelines
-Sort and stack according to guidelines and work instructions
-Organize pallets and recognize reparable and non-repairable pallets
-Operate all shop tools and equipment such as Pallet Dismantler, Table Saw, -Chop Saw, Pneumatic Nail Gun, Pallet Jack, Hand Tools (wrenches, screw driver, etc.)
-Log all work done completed to turn into supervisor
-Clean up work area when completed for the day
-Wear all productive gear as required
-Other duties may be assigned

-Sort pallet components
-Build unique pallets
-Operate all pallet manufacturing facility tools and equipment in a safe manner
-Maintain a clean work environment and clean up after each shift
-Oversee production of a department
-Provide supervision for to 4-10 employees
-Communicate with Supervisors and Managers daily to ensure production and shipments are made in accordance to customer due dates
-Ensure the material is ready to be assemble by inspecting material for defects and other quality specifications
-Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Experience in manufacturing preferred, but not required
-Previous supervision required
-Able to work well with others
-Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math computations
-On most occasions will lift 50 pounds or less and on rare occasion must be able to lift, push, and pull objects over 75 pounds
-Must be able to sit, walk, bend and twist for long periods of time
-Must be able to understand and adhere to all the safety requirements of the pallet manufacturing facility
-Must be able to read a tape measure

Duties:
-Build, dismantle, and sort pallets
-Operate all pallet manufacturing facility tools (saws, nail guns, pallet jacks, hand tools) and equipment in a safe manner
-Wear all personal protective equipment required
-Sort and stack pallets according to customers’ requirements
-Operate forklift after OSHA required training is completed
-Keep daily log of work done to turn into shift supervisor at end of each shift
-Clean up the work area during and at end of each shift
-Maintain a clean and safe work area
-Other duties as assigned

Skills:
-Able to work well with others
-Must be able to read and write
