Poured a “Mapei” self leveler before installing a 12"x24" Tile in this lovely Denver Home.

I did work for this client back a few years ago. Didn’t directly work with the client, at the time it was a bigger project and I was hired to do the Tile install only. Long story short, they liked my work so much they decided to go directly to me this time. 🥰 these are the types of clients that make what I do worth it. Thank you so much!!! and wife!

This Bathroom looked gorgeous when I first walked in. Looks Can be deceiving….who knows what could possibly be under all that beauty….water is one of the most powerful forces in this world tho and will find weaknesses where present.
-Buckling grout joints in shower pan (found out they liquid nailed shower pan in place)…
-Improper slope to the curb top.
-2x4’s not properly secured for curb.
-No waterproofing whatsoever.
-Shower water valve wasn’t secured properly.
-The P-trap was all funky (missing pic 😞)
I’m sure there’s other items I’m forgetting to mention but all that to say DONT LET THE FINISH PRODUCT FOOL YOU………PREP AND UNDERLAYMENT ARE OF THE MOST IMPORTANCE.

If your looking for a cheaper company you’ll get the mess that this client had to deal with.
If your concerned about timing and would like your tiler to finish sooner than later, please understand that PREP is CRUCIAL!

Does it suck at times….yes. Do I give up….hell No. I keep going. Finish my day and come back at it again the next day. It’s all worth it when your doing that final wipe on your product. Means more when my clients show their gratitude. Thank you to everyone who has giving me the opportunity to display my Tile/Stone skills. I greatly appreciate it ♥️
