We Shaved the Day for Mosaic Hope!!!

Thank you to every single person who donated, shared our fundraiser, volunteered your time, or cheered us on along the way. Your kindness will help provide clothing, school supplies, hygiene items, and other essentials to children entering foster care during one of the most challenging times in their lives.

A special thank you to everyone who volunteered to shave their heads, shave their beards, and donate their hair. Your willingness to step up (and give up your hair!) made this fundraiser fun, memorable, and inspired others to give.

This wasn’t just about reaching a dollar amount—it was about coming together to make a real difference for children who need our support the most.

From all of us at CDC, thank you for helping us “Shave the Day” and, more importantly, helping change lives. 💙

We need to raise our final $7,730 to reach our $20,000 goal for Mosaic Hope by Monday June 22nd.

What is Mosaic Hope? Mosaic Hope supports children entering foster care by providing clothing, school supplies, and other essential items during one of the most difficult transitions of their lives. Your donation helps ensure these children and the families caring for them have the resources they need when they need them most.

And if we hit our goal? ✂️Several CDC employees will shave their heads or beards LIVE, and two employees will donate their locks for wigs!

Holiday Party Highlights at The Draftsman

We had a great time celebrating the season with our team at The Draftsman inside the Restoration Hotel in downtown Asheville. Amazing space, great atmosphere, and even better company.

The afternoon featured employee bingo, plenty of laughs, and a competitive Skee-Ball Tournament. Huge shoutout to Dakota Sharpe, our Skee-Ball Tournament Champion, for rolling his way to victory!

Our team was hard at work the night before delivering holiday gifts for the team—with Jason Pass helping “pass” the goods. Each team member received a Turtlebox Speaker, a small thank-you for a big year of hard work.

A big thanks to The Draftsman for hosting us in such a great downtown Asheville space.

Cheers to teamwork, a strong finish to the year, and heading into the holidays together.

Big thanks to Vannoy Construction for stopping by yesterday and treating our team to lunch! We had a great time hanging out with some of their key Asheville folks and getting into the holiday spirit together.
