🎃 A real-life horror story 🎃

It started with a fire outside the house. The heat was so intense it melted the siding right off the wall. 😱

But the scariest part wasn't outside. When we climbed into the attic, the insulation was stained, wet and had a layer of ice over it. Insulation in that condition can't keep your home warm, and nobody can see it unless they go up and look.

Those dark spots? That's mold. 😬

This wall had fiberglass batts with an air barrier, and it still happened. Once you live in a home, every nail you put in for a picture, a shelf or a TV pokes a hole in that barrier. Warm, moist air gets through, hits the cold wall, and the batts become a home for mold.

Closed-cell spray foam bonds right to the studs and sheathing, so it stays sealed even when you're hanging things on the wall. No barrier to tear, no gaps for moist air to get in.

We pulled the moldy batts out and sprayed it Done Right. 💚

🚨 LET’S TALK ABOUT THE “CHEAPEST BID.” 🚨

We know price matters. We’re homeowners and business owners too. But when it comes to insulation, the lowest number on the estimate doesn’t always mean you’re getting the best deal.

In fact, sometimes that cheap bid is cheap for a reason.

❌ What product are they actually using?
Not all insulation products are created equal. Ask what manufacturer and product you’re getting — not just how much it costs.

❌ How much material are you actually getting?
Is the quoted price based on the same thickness, coverage, and specifications as the other bids? Make sure you’re comparing apples to apples.

❌ Who is doing the installation?
Experienced installers who take pride in their work cost money. Cutting labor and rushing through a job can show up in the finished product.

❌ Are they cutting corners to cut the price?
