Important Fairgrounds Road Update

🚧 Fairgrounds Road Paving Update 🚧

Final prep (tolerancing/blading) for Fairgrounds Road is scheduled for Friday, July 25, with paving to follow on Monday, July 28 and Tuesday, July 29.

🚗 What to Expect:
• Temporary delays of 5 to 20 minutes may occur during paving
• Continuous access will be maintained, but please be patient as crews work
• After paving, final tasks like topsoil, striping, and signage installation will wrap up the project

Thanks to Grant at BWI for choosing us to complete the Civil work on this project!

The Chamber Ambassadors were excited to celebrate Battery Wholesale, Inc. as they broke ground on their new location, set to open this November. The new space will also be home to Northern Stone, your locally owned source for stone countertops.

From phone and watch batteries to tractor and toy batteries, BWI is a one-stop shop for all your battery needs — plus, they recycle nearly 3 million pounds of scrap batteries each year, keeping it local and eco-friendly.

We’re excited to see both businesses grow!

This work will be somewhat disruptive for the next couple of days, especially given everything else that is going on in the area. Please allow yourself extra time and be cautious. The workers, truckers and support staff are making their best effort to get this portion of the project done quickly and efficiently. In order to accomplish that, there will be a substantial amount of activity for the next couple of days!

🚧 Fairgrounds Road Update – July 1 🚧

Gravel placement on Fairgrounds Road will begin tomorrow (Wednesday, July 2) and is expected to wrap up by Thursday.

Please be prepared for tough driving conditions during these two days while gravel is being placed and leveled. Drive slowly, watch for workers and equipment, and use caution through the area.

Some gorgeous views, topped only by the excitement of no more gravel and dust, now nearing the end of a two-year project in Northern Township on South Movil and Tavistock. Easy to see why we live where we do! This was a full reconstruct, widening and re-paving. There is still shouldering work remaining prior to wrapping up completely.

If you haven't had a chance yet, stop out and see the new Ray's Sport & Marine - Bemidji location in Wilton! We had the pleasure of working on this project and it's spectacular to see how they are able to fully utilize this new space with great access from the highway!
