We’re getting to that time of year in Montana where the A/C might be running one afternoon and the furnace kicks on the next morning.

Before you need the heat, take 5 minutes and:
✓ Check your furnace filter�
✓ Make sure your vents aren’t blocked�
✓ Turn the heat on and let it run for a few minutes

A little dusty smell the first time it runs can be normal. But if something smells wrong, sounds wrong, or the house isn’t warming up like it should, it’s better to figure that out now than on the first 30° morning.
