Earlier this week, we shared the finished bathroom from this attic conversion project in Spring Branch, Texas.
What made that transformation possible started here.

Before construction begins, spaces like this require careful evaluation of the existing structure, rooflines, mechanical systems, access, ceiling height, and future layout.

In this 2025 project, Rick walked the attic with the team to talk through the plan for transforming an underused storage area into a finished room and bathroom.

On this past Texas Hill Country room addition, the goal was to make the new structure feel like it had always been part of the original home.

That meant matching nearly 30-year-old white Hill Country stone- not only in color, but also in scale, texture, placement, and overall character.

The result is a seamless transition that makes it difficult to tell where the original home ends and the addition begins.
