Apparently, the fireplace glass had heard enough. 😂🔊💥

I cranked up the JL Audio Fathom In-Wall subs and MartinLogan electrostatics, the bass started digging DEEP, and somewhere in the middle of it all the tempered glass on the linear fireplace apparently said:

“Nope. I’m out.”

It didn’t crack.

It didn’t politely fail.

It absolutely evacuated the fireplace and launched pieces of glass about 15 feet across the room. 😂

I have no idea what exact frequency finally made it surrender, but this was a pretty hilarious reminder that serious bass isn’t just about volume. Low frequencies move air, create pressure, shake structures, and apparently cause nearby building materials to reconsider their career choices.

The system survived.
The subs survived.
The MartinLogans survived.
The fireplace glass has left the chat.

A rustic look with no compromise in performance.

This large-scale home automation project brought together premium design, seamless technology, and reliable whole-home control. The custom Sony Studio Frame by Leon allowed us to achieve the warm, rustic aesthetic the home called for while maintaining exceptional TV quality and avoiding the need to hide a separate Samsung One Connect box.

At the heart of the system is Elan Control Systems, serving as the control backbone for the entire home. The project also includes distributed music, Lutron lighting control, Lutron motorized shades, Focal in-ceiling speakers, Autonomic music streamers, and a best-in-class seamless roaming network designed for reliable coverage throughout the home.
