AESI was honored to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Big Sky School District Teacher Housing project. Our team provided surveying, site design, and permitting services to support this important community investment. Funded by resort taxes, the Yellowstone Club Community Foundation, and Big Sky voters, the development creates affordable housing opportunities for educators, strengthening the connection between teachers and the community they serve.

Allied Engineering would like to introduce Mitch Price and Jeffrey Ticknor - two recent hires in our Water Resources Department that both bring decades of experience and expertise to support and serve our customers. Read a bit more about their experience and qualifications here:

Mitch Price: “Mitch brings more than 30 years of water resources engineering experience throughout the western United States. Before joining AESI as Principal Engineer and Water Resources Department Manager, he served seven years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and more than two decades in consulting, supporting federal, state, Tribal, municipal, and private-sector clients. His experience spans project planning, engineering assessment, technical design, and implementation across a wide range of rivers, watersheds, and water resource systems. Mitch is known for building collaborative project teams, mentoring engineers, and delivering practical solutions that balance risk, performance, and resilience to provide long-term value for stakeholders and communities.”

Jeffrey Ticknor: “Jeff spent 25 years with the Bureau of Reclamation, gaining extensive experience across the western United States as a civil engineer and asset manager supporting water storage and delivery projects that serve western communities. Before joining AESI and opening the Billings, Montana branch office, he led a diverse team of more than 80 engineers, geologists, and technicians responsible for operations, maintenance, and safety of dam, hydropower, bridge, and water delivery infrastructure across a nine-state region.”
