We are a family owned wholesale electrical distributor serving our customers in MO, IL, & IA. In October 1966, the firm moved into its first warehouse.

In 1961, Dick Fletcher and Joe Reinhardt discussed starting a business of their own over lunch at White Castle. This decision came after both were working at Wesco for many years. Their first day of operation came three months later on January 2, 1962. The company, called Fletcher-Reinhardt Company, was formed as a partnership for the distribution of electrical transmission and distribution equipm

ent and supplies for the electric utility market. In August, 1975, Fletcher-Reinhardt Service Company was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary of the repair and service of oil circuit reclosers, voltage regulators, protective relays, switchgear, oil circuit breakers and electronic controls. In 1989, another office and warehouse was opened in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This facility serves mostly the industrial utility market. In July 1998, Fletcher-Reinhardt Company moved in to its fifth and largest warehouse in Bridgeton. The new facilities have over 40,000 square feet of warehouse space and one acre of outside storage. Currently, Joe Reinhardt's sons, Jim and John run the business. There are 50 employees at all three sites. Fletcher-Reinhardt Company, specializing in dependable service for 50 years.
