When it comes to coatings, cleaners, sealers, and surface treatments, what happens before the product is applied can be just as important as the product itself.

A surface may look clean—but oils, dirt, oxidation, residues, old coatings, and other contaminants can interfere with how a chemical product performs.

WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO REMOVE?

Different contaminants require different chemistry:

• Oil & grease? A degreaser may be appropriate.
• Dirt & grime? A formulated cleaner can help break down and remove buildup.
• Oxidation or mineral deposits? Specialized acidic chemistry may be more effective.
• Existing coatings? A paint or coating st****er may be the better solution.

Water-based doesn't automatically mean better, and solvent-based doesn't automatically mean stronger. The right chemistry depends on the substrate, required adhesion, exposure conditions, drying environment, service life, removal requirements, and regulatory considerations.

At GCC, we formulate strippable coatings around the application—not just the chemistry.

Have a surface that needs temporary protection? Let's talk chemistry. 🧪

When choosing a chemical product, it's not always about which formula is "stronger." The right choice often depends on how the product will be used.

READY-TO-USE (RTU)
✓ No mixing/dilution required
✓ Consistent concentration
✓ Convenient for smaller jobs

Consider: More storage and shipping volume, potentially higher cost per usable gallon.

CONCENTRATED FORMULAS
✓ More applications per container
✓ Saves on storage and shipping costs
✓ Economical for high-volume use
Consider: Requires proper mixing and dilution for consistent performance.

Protect surfaces when you need it. Peel it away when you don’t.

GenPeel 1172 creates a temporary protective barrier that can be applied by spray or roller. Once dry, it protects the surface, and when the job is done, simply peel it off.

Spray it on → Protect the surface → Peel away the mess.
