A 70s home doesn’t have to stay stuck in the 70s.

We wrapped this one in all-new steel board and batten siding, and it completely changed the look of the house.

Clean, sharp, durable, and available in a dozen color options.

The hard part isn’t finding a good color… it’s picking just one.

What color would you put on YOUR home?

With a dozen color choices, it’s hard to pick a bad one…

Carpenter bees might look harmless, but the damage they leave behind can get expensive fast.

They don’t eat the wood like termites. They drill into it, tunnel through it, and come back year after year. Over time, those clean little round holes can turn into long galleries inside fascia, trim, deck boards, porch beams, siding, and exposed wood around the home.

The real problem usually isn’t one bee. It’s repeated nesting, moisture getting into the holes, woodpeckers tearing the area open to get to the larvae, and the structure slowly getting weaker and uglier over time.

If you’re seeing small round holes, sawdust piles, staining, or bees hovering around your wood trim, don’t ignore it. Catching it early can save a lot of repair work later.

Imagine a rainy evening, a warm drink in hand, overlooking the creek… now imagine that’s in your own sunroom.

This space started as what we jokingly called the “raccoon house,” but after stripping it down and rebuilding it, it became one of the coziest spots in the home.

A quiet place to read, relax, listen to the rain, and enjoy the view.

That’s the kind of transformation we love.

What would you do with this old raccoon house?

We stripped it down to almost nothing and brought it back to life as an amazing reading porch.

Sitting out here in the evening, listening to the rain, overlooking the creek… now that’s relaxation.

It’s hard to beat turning a rough old space into one of the best spots in the whole house.

Phase two of this remodel was all about making the master bathroom work better for everyday life — both now and long term. We removed the old soaking tub and small shower to make room for this massive zero-entry roll-in shower with full custom tile work throughout.

The partial wall keeps the space feeling open and bright while still giving the shower its own separation, and the new Kohler system with body sprayers and push-button controls really finished it off.

Accessibility was the driving force behind this project, but that doesn’t mean it had to feel institutional. The end result is a bathroom that’s easier to use, more functional, and honestly just feels like a luxury spa.

Big upgrade from where this one started.

Heated floors under your feet, rift sawn oak bringing in that clean grain, and tile tying it all together the right way.

Simple, solid, and built to last—not just look good for a year.

This is what a real bathroom glow up looks like when you don’t cut corners.

Not exactly the kind of “good morning” you expect pulling up to a jobsite.

Early on in this build, we showed up ready to get rolling and instead found a power line down across the road and a transformer sitting in the driveway.

Big shoutout to the linemen who handle situations like this. It’s dangerous, high-pressure work, and most people never see what goes into keeping the lights on. Without them, none of us are getting much done.

We were back at it once they made it safe — but it’s a good reminder of how much happens behind the scenes just to keep things moving.
