Most people never see this part of the manufacturing process. While people drive by, they may see the lights on, or a machine running.

What they don't see from the outside is the craftsmanship, the expertise, and the people running the machinery, who make reliable power possible.. For more than 175 years, International Wire has helped support the infrastructure behind the systems we rely on every day.

Copper. Tin-plated. Nickel-plated. Silver-plated. Aluminum. Bronze. Each material type brings something different to the table and picking the right one comes down to matching material properties to the demands of the application.

๐Ÿ”น Bare copper wire remains the backbone of most electrical systems trusted for its conductivity and durability in everything from power grids to grounding systems.
๐Ÿ”น Tin-plated copper holds up where corrosion is a concern, making it a go-to for marine and industrial environments.
๐Ÿ”น Nickel-plated copper handles heat up to 260ยฐC, built for high-temperature applications in automotive and aerospace.
๐Ÿ”น Aluminum wire offers a lighter, cost-effective option for large-scale wiring in buildings and overhead applications.
๐Ÿ”น Bronze wire brings added strength and corrosion resistance for the toughest oil & gas and industrial environments.

Choosing the right conductor material is the first step toward a reliable, high-performing system. What's driving your material selection cost, environment, or performance specs?

Copper conductor starts as copper rod in coil and ends on a reel. Everything in between is the hard part.

After the conductor is drawn, annealed, stranded, tested, and finished, it's wound onto a reel and ready to ship. It's easy to overlook, but that final reel represents years of process knowledge, precision drawing, rigorous testing, and a level of quality control from our employees most customers never see.

Next time you're holding a reel of wire, remember there's a lot more time, and a lot more people, behind it than what's on the outside.

Underground mining is one of the toughest environments you can put a cable through. It gets dragged, flexed, and driven over by heavy equipment all day. Because of that, mining cable can wear out in as little as six months.

That's why it's built differently from the start, prioritizing flexibility and abrasion resistance over anything else, because in that environment, durability isn't a nice-to-have.

Bare single-end copper is the starting point for almost everything we make.

Single-end bare copper wire is drawn to precise size from copper rod one continuous strand, no plating, no coating. It's the foundation of our conductor line, and it's still one of the most requested products we manufacture.
Common applications include:

โœ”๏ธ Telecommunications cables
โœ”๏ธ Conductors for building wire
โœ”๏ธ Grounding wire
โœ”๏ธ A wide range of other conductors and cable assemblies

also offers tin-plated copper wire, nickel-plated wire, and silver-plated options available in single-end, explore them here:

By 2040, global copper demand is projected to grow by up to 50% driven almost entirely by electrification.

At International Wire, a Pantheon Electric company, we've built our conductor portfolio around that reality:

โ€ข High-purity copper conductors: minimizing resistivity where performance matters most
โ€ข Advanced alloy wire solutions: engineered for strength-to-conductivity ratios in demanding applications
โ€ข Consistent performance at scale: because reliability is not just a specification, itโ€™s a supply chain commitment

Engineered for reliability. Built to Power What's Next.

The electrified economy needs more than ambition. It needs the copper infrastructure to make it possible.

Pantheon Electric has completed the integration of four established manufacturers into a single electrical infrastructure platform spanning 21 plants across North America and Europe, becoming the largest independent U.S. manufacturer of copper conductors and busbars.

As demand accelerates across AI data centers, grid modernization, advanced manufacturing, and electrification, customers need a manufacturing partner with the scale, supply security, and capabilities to deliver.

Pantheon Electric now processes more than one million pounds of copper per day, providing:
๐Ÿญ Domestic manufacturing at scale
๐Ÿ”’ Greater supply security
โšก A single source for conductors, busbars, and engineered conductive solutions
๐ŸŒŽ Reliable support for critical infrastructure projects
