Rinderknecht Associates Inc Commercial General Contractor Rinderknecht Associates, Inc. is the premier commercial general contractor in the Cedar Rapids area.

Our roots date back to the 1880's. Yes, we build buildings, but we also build our community. We have vast experience in new construction, remodeling and renovation. We have a full-time safety director on staff and are very proud of our excellent safety record. Rinderknecht also boasts on-site field supervision on every project.

Our Phase III work at McGrath Volkswagen of Marion recently finished up and we think it looks pretty spectacular! The project included a new service entrance and new car delivery space, as well as a new locker room and restroom.

We are pleased to welcome Shawn CornalIy to our team! Shawn and his wife Lianna live in Solon with their three kids, a bunch of ducks, chickens, dogs, cats, and several thousand square feet of gardens that his wife uses in her farmstand business. When not wrangling children and animals, Shawn and his family enjoy music, and everyone plays at least one instrument! Shawn’s hobbies include woodworking, and his favorite part is installing a piece made from wood that he milled from a fallen tree.

The morning crew helped get St Andrew Lutheran Church ELCA ready to host The Arc of East Central Iowa programming this summer and the afternoon crew helped Horizons East Central Iowa clean out the NTS vans! A big thank you to everyone who made Day of Caring possible!
