Just a quick lil Good Makers Market spring photo dump because fall market is thus weekend already!!! Join us for round two of celebrating 10 years of incredible work put on by Jess & Steve! These market weekends are some of my favorite weekends of the year. Good Makers Market has brought me the best freaking friends. To all who come, thank you. Good Morning ❤️ thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the support. Fortunately my story is not unique. Hearing the shared stories of so many other mothers is so healing and so connective. Thank you all for your messages & comments. ❤️ I do wish none of us had to experience this, but I feel so much relief to not be alone. The more we share our stories the more change we create. 1 in 4 women experience miscarriage. Share your story where you feel safe to so that others can support, relate, & help you heal. This is not something you should experience alone.
These are our hours for the coming week. After these next few days, I believe we will be back to regular hours for the most part. Thank you again.

Please take a few moments to slide through. A few notes alongside this news.
Our shop needs some grace over the next few weeks. There will be a handful of days that I need to close the shop because I am not physically ready to work & be on my feet all day. We will be closed Friday 8/14 and potentially Sunday 8/16. Over the next few weeks I encourage you to take a quick peek at Google, Apple Maps or our social media stories to see if we are operating on any adjusted hours before heading down. We always update the hours on those platforms when we adjust hours or close. Our fall soap launch will be a few weeks behind schedule. Some products may not restock as quickly as we usually do. Please be kind to my staff as they are carrying a much larger load than they normally do. Wholesale customers, we are doing our best to stay on track, but we are a little bit behind on shipments.

Lastly, please please please continue to support our shop. We need the connection & support now more than ever.

Tomorrow is our 4 year anniversary in the shop! What a pleasure and a privilege it has been to serve this community refills for the last 4 years. I am so proud to be a part of the Cedar Rapids small business community. Join us tomorrow in the shop or online for $6 bar soaps! The sale will run online all weekend long. The shop will be CLOSED for Mother’s Day! ✨🌷

Hi! Kickstand and Basix are excited because we have been planning a big Kickoff to Pride weekend for you. Kickstand wanted to be a huge part with this weekend, so we are teaming up with them to have an all ages noon drag brunch and a 5 o'clock dinner drag show out on their patio on June 6th! There will even be a doggie drag show there that day! More details on those shows coming very soon.

We wanted to get a jump start on getting pride vendors lined up for this all ages event. We are only limited to 10 spots out on their patio. All the money collected for booth reservations will be donated to Pride. You can save this poster and scan the QR from your images or go to the sign up form at https://forms.gle/o3eChgrYUp6P6fjx7

Once we hit the deadline of May 15th we will go through all the applications for the Pride Vendor Market and get those approved and collect the donations for those booths at that time.

The Pride Vendor Market starts at noon, June 6th on the Kickstand patio with load in around 10 AM. Bring your own canopy tent and tables as this will be an open air pride vendor market.
