We'd like to welcome our intern Miguel back for another summer with Mar-Bal. He will be working in the Product Engineering Department with our Electrical Performance Products group this summer, spending time at both headquarters and our Ohio plant.

Miguel is continuing his studies at the University of Akron where he is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. We are excited to have him back on the team and look forward to his continued contributions and his fresh perspective.

Congratulations to Steve Gallimore on his retirement! Virginia Plant Manager Eric Stump had the following to say about Steve:

"It is with immense pleasure that I announce Steve Gallimore’s retirement. He will be missed. Steve started with Mar-Bal on October 1st, 1997. He started molding and then moved to Utility.

We then received several jobs that required secondary operations such as assembly, machining, and drilling. At that time, we only had some extremely basic tools to accomplish that work (multi spindle drill press and handheld routers with fixturing).

Steve and the Finishing Department grew immensely in skills and machinery, ending up with three CNC machining centers and a large bed CNC router. Steve can run and program them all... what an accomplishment!

Steve, I hope you enjoy all your free time on motorcycles, fishing, traveling, and everything that will come with this next chapter in your life. You will be missed, so you must come back and eat steak with us at our target dinners.

Please help us on congratulating Steve on 28 years."
