🚧 Remember that HUGE barn pour a few weeks ago?! 🚧

The one where our crew started at 3:30 A.M. and tackled around 500 yards of concrete before most of us had even finished our first cup of coffee? 😅☕️

Well, here are a few more pictures from that job, and it’s getting so close to being finished! 👏

It’s pretty awesome to see a project of this size come together and know our crew played such a big part in it. From that very early morning start to seeing everything taking shape now, this was definitely one for the books!

💚🧡 Our Community Needs Us.

The flooding our area experienced has left so many of our neighbors facing a cleanup that most of us can’t even imagine. Families are having to remove furniture, personal belongings, and pieces of their homes that simply can’t be saved.

Prater & Sons Concrete has donated to the Flood Cleanup Fund to help provide dumpsters to neighborhoods affected by the flooding. We know our donation is only a small piece of what is needed, but we wanted to do our part—and hopefully help spread the word so others who are able can do the same.

According to the fundraiser, every $500 raised provides one dumpster, giving residents a place to dispose of belongings and debris as they begin the difficult cleanup process.

We’re sharing the donation information below for anyone who would like to contribute. No amount is too small when a community comes together. ❤️

And please—if anyone knows of another way Prater & Sons can help those affected, reach out and let us know. Whether there is something we can do as a company or another local effort that needs support, we want to hear about it.

Cicero, Noblesville, and the surrounding communities have supported our family business for many years. When our neighbors need help, we want to be there for them too.

Noblesville is coming together to help with flood cleanup, and we’re proud to do our part. ❤️

2nd Shift Garage Doors has already donated toward several dumpsters for neighborhoods in need, and we’re encouraging other local businesses, families, and community members to join us.

Through Charity Dumpsters, powered by Indianapolis Dumpster Service, in partnership with Veterans Support Network Inc., dumpsters will be placed in affected neighborhoods for 2–3 days at a time to help residents with immediate cleanup needs.

$500 covers one dumpster, but any donation is appreciated and can help us get dumpsters where they’re needed most.

🌧️ OFFICE CLOSED TODAY 🌧️

Due to the significant amount of rainfall we received and flooding on the roads surrounding our office, Prater & Sons Concrete will not be opening today.

At this time, there is no safe access for our office staff to get to the office. The safety of our employees comes first, and we don’t want anyone attempting to travel through flooded roadways.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s understanding. Please stay safe, use caution if you have to be out, and never attempt to drive through flooded roads. 💚🧡

We plan to resume normal business hours once road conditions allow for safe access.

Well… Mother Nature had other plans for our crew today! 🌧️😂

After ALL the rain we got this morning, the guys had to call it an early day. And according to their daily job report, they “about drowned.” 🤣

Apparently, we need to add life jackets to the Prater & Sons Concrete equipment list! 🛟😂 Who knew concrete work would turn into a water sport?!

All jokes aside, this post is meant purely for a little humor! The safety of our crew is always our top priority, and we take weather conditions seriously. When conditions become unsafe, we make the call to get our guys off the job and home safely. 💚🧡

Here’s hoping tomorrow brings a little more sunshine and a LOT less swimming! ☀️😂

🏡 Now THAT is a transformation! 👏

Our crew recently completed this new concrete driveway along with a new front walkway and steps, giving this home a fresh, clean look from the street all the way to the front door!

We love projects like this because it’s amazing how much new concrete can completely change the curb appeal of a home. And those curved edges leading up to the porch? 😍 Such a nice finishing touch!

🏡 If you’re from Cicero, you’ve probably watched this transformation from the very beginning.

Many of you remember the previous home that once stood here, and over the past several months you’ve likely watched this beautiful new home take shape.
