The STEM Lab haf a great time last night at North Avondale CRC. We hosted a Family STEM Challenge ⚙️ and boy was there competition! From Team Kitten to Team Carter Engineers had great teamwork and problem-solving skills 🧠.

When we started these family style events 8 years ago we did so with the mission to increase curiosity in kids towards STEM and experiences that help them create meaningful memories with their families. Last night's event was that mission in real life.

In our last day of Slimeology Club in Mariemont Slimeologists got to make their own ultimate slime and magnetic slime! It was slime-tastic 🫟

They also learned some new terminology in our 6 week class: polyvinyl acetate, non- Newtonian fluid, and viscosity. The STEM Lab we love buikding scientific literacy through fun hands-on activities.

Last night’s Jr. Chef class at The STEM Lab was full of flavor and fun! 👩‍🍳👨🏾‍🍳

Our kiddos whipped up homemade chicken teriyaki and mixed up refreshing fizzy lemonade — and absolutely crushed it in the kitchen. From learning new cooking skills to tasting their delicious creations, it was a night full of smiles, confidence, and yummy bites. 🍗🍋✨

Chef Milton has been asking his parents to come.back to cook for the past 6 weeks. When he arrived he was soooo excited. He said he would see us next week amd we had to tell him that it's only once a month. Poor thing was so disappointed.

But, we’re so proud of these young chefs and can’t wait for the next class in June!
