Trenches closed, floor leveled, and this project is flying! 🚀🏗️
That’s exactly what we’re making happen on this new commercial construction project at 1935 Covington Ave, Piqua, OH. After weeks of intense underground work, we’ve completed the key phases before making the big move above ground on this new 5,029 SF C-Store:
🔧 Utility rough-ins: Plumbing and preliminary electrical work completed.
⚡ Infrastructure: Underground utilities and site power under control.
⛽ Fuel area: Footings and fuel canopy installation complete.
🪨 Solid base: Slab prep completed, stone placed, and inspections passed.
🏗️ Concrete in place: Main slab and raised floor fully poured.
🪵 The best part? The lumber is already on site, and our team is ready to start framing.

In Miami County, OH, the community is already starting to notice the pace of the project. As a General Contractor in Ohio, this is always one of the best parts: leaving the underground work behind and watching the structure rise where everyone can see it.

They say love forgives everything... except snoring at 3:00 AM. 😴🤫💥
And to save a few marriages and bring peaceful nights back, we transformed 7,756 sq ft of old office space at 9260 Marketplace Dr, Miamisburg, OH, into the new ADVENT clinic — the experts behind the Breathing Triangle (nose and throat) who help people say goodbye to sleep apnea, sinusitis, and relationship-destroying snoring. 😀

But before they could clear airways, our team had to clear the space. They put on their hard hats and boots and led the floor-to-ceiling transformation of this interior remodel:
🔨 Interior demolition: We opened up the space so the air could flow again.
🧱 Drywall, concrete, and ceilings: Commercial structure looking new and properly aligned.
🚪 Doors, hardware, and finishes: Medical-grade finishes ready to welcome patients looking for more oxygen.
❄️ HVAC and plumbing: Climate control and fresh-air engineering from day one.
The result? A space transformed into a modern, fresh medical center ready to help the Montgomery County community sleep like a baby again — without sounding like a lawn mower. 🚜💨

Meet the furry team... they don’t always wear hard hats, but they do have happy tails and restless paws. ❤️🐾
They may not go to the jobsite, review blueprints, or ever show up at Tuesday meetings… but somehow, they’re still part of the Carra team. ❤️

They’re the first to welcome us home after a long day, our unofficial stress-relief department, and probably the only coworkers who celebrate absolutely everything we do. 😂

Our star break inspectors, cookie quality-control experts, and finders of balls in impossible-to-reach places:
Timber, Biddy, Big Boy Bear, Boggie, Gingerbread, Haddie, Kali Poo, Koda, Luna, Maggie, Ellie, Faith, Maple, Merv, Reese and Waylon.

BTW, Timber is a tiny 2-year-old Smooth Collie/Husky mix looking for his next favorite place to call home. 🐶❤️

Demo, grade, and rebuild from the ground up? Our favorite excuse to move tons of dirt. 🚜
Because to build something great, sometimes you have to create a little chaos first (organized chaos, of course). At 2 E. Franklin St., Gratis, Ohio, we officially said goodbye to the old structure and hello to the complete rebuild of this new 3,946 SF convenience store.

And when we say commercial rebuild, we mean it: demolition, foundations, masonry, structural steel, roofing and canopy work, framing, insulation, drywall, EIFS, acoustical ceilings, flooring, cabinets, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and final finishes... if it shows up on the plans, we’re putting it in. 🚜💨

With Jessie as PM and Andy as Super 👷‍♂️ leading the operation and keeping everything on track, the team has already completed the building and asphalt demolition, graded the site, and finished the survey staking 🎯 (because eyeballing it isn’t an option around here 💪). They’ve also started digging and pouring the first footings, while work on the fuel area and canopy moves forward in parallel.

There’s still plenty of concrete to pour and dust to kick up, but this new corner in Preble County is already starting to take shape. 🏗️⛽

Who said breaking things wasn’t serious work? Mmm... we’re being a little bad... but for a good cause 🚜😇
This commercial construction and renovation project at 10843 Montgomery Rd, led by our PM Matt and Super Chris, kicked off the day with the best stress-relief therapy 😆: demolition and site prep! 🔨💪

The first step of the redevelopment: saying goodbye to the old convenience store, removing 2 fuel pumps, breaking up slabs, and removing old foundations in Cincinnati, OH.

The master plan? Turn all that dust into a new 2,387 SF convenience store and a renovated fuel station (keeping 4 fuel pumps and the existing canopy) for Hamilton County.

The scope of the magic (A to Z):
🚜 Site work: Excavation, foundations, and putting the strong steel in place.
🧱 Walls and facade: Exterior finish (EFIS), framing, drywall, and ceilings.
⚡ MEP systems: Plumbing, HVAC, and the full electrical spark.
🖼️ Finishes: Painting, flooring, and getting everything ready for the grand-opening photo.

Months of hard work… compressed into 12 seconds. 👀✨

The AI makes it look like magic. The real version takes planning, coordination, crews, inspections, and a lot more than one P**F. 😂

At 6641 N. Dixie Drive, we took this 4,437 SF C-store + fuel station from an active construction site to a finished commercial space ready to operate.

As the general contractor, we coordinated the full build:

🧱 Sitework, foundations, and concrete
🏗️ Structural steel and masonry
🛠️ Roofing, framing, drywall, and finishes
⚡ Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other MEP systems
⛽ Fuel station construction and exterior coordination
✅ Inspections, punch list, and final delivery
