One of our crews is officially past the halfway point on this 60,000 SF pharmaceutical manufacturing project!
The project started with the complete removal of an existing 1/4” epoxy mortar system to make way for a new urethane cement flooring system throughout the facility.
The scope includes:
• 60,000 SF of urethane cement flooring
• Decodur decorative flake systems in the packaging rooms
• 60-mil slurry system with an ESD finish throughout the corridors
The ESD finish is especially critical in this facility, as AGV units will travel throughout the corridors, making proper static control an important part of the flooring system’s performance.
Just as challenging as the installation itself has been the phasing and coordination required to work alongside multiple trades in shared spaces. Our crew continues to navigate it with ease while keeping the project moving forward.
