We were proud to take part in the 36th Annual Charity Golf Tournament hosted by the YMCA at Saratoga Lake Golf Club this week! ⛳

Events like this make a real impact—helping more kids get to experience summer camp, build friendships, and enjoy everything summer at the Y has to offer.

Our team has been honored to participate in this event since 2020, and we’re grateful to continue supporting such an impactful mission.

We’re proud to welcome Thomas and Jacob to the Bast Hatfield family this summer!

Thomas and Jacob, both graduating from WSWHE BOCES CTE programs, have officially signed on to join our team after graduation. Their hands-on experience and dedication make them a great addition, and we’re excited to support them as they launch into their careers in construction.

Congratulations to these two. We can’t wait to see where their skills take them!

Please join us in welcoming Samuel Larter to the Bast Hatfield team as our new Assistant Project Manager! Samuel recently graduated from Clarkson University with a degree in Global Supply Chain Management and brings experience in construction management, estimating, and project coordination. We’re excited to have him on board and look forward to the impact he’ll make on our projects and team.

Celebrating a big step for the next generation 👏

We joined Questar III BOCES for a signing day to recognize Lukas, a junior who recently completed a job shadow with our team. After seeing the work firsthand, he’s officially joining us this summer as an intern!

Experiences like these are what it’s all about—connecting students to real opportunities and helping them take the first step toward a career in construction. We’re excited to have him on board and see what he accomplishes this summer. 🔨

Meet our interns, Owen and Gavin!

Owen is returning for his second summer and is heading into his junior year at Clarkson, majoring in Civil Engineering. It’s been great having him back as he continues to build on his experience and grow with our team!

Gavin is heading into his sophomore year at Clarkson University, where he’s studying Engineering and Management. This is his first summer with us, and he’s already jumping in and getting a feel for the industry!

Today marked something special for our team at Bast Hatfield — our first student job shadow experience in over a decade.

We were excited to welcome Lukas for a behind-the-scenes look at the commercial construction industry and give them the opportunity to learn directly from the hardworking professionals who make our projects possible every day. Lukas is a student at Questar III who is interested in a summer internship with Bast Hatfield.

Investing in the next generation of construction professionals is important to us, and we’re proud to help students explore careers in the trades and construction industry. Thank you to Dale and our team who took the time to share their knowledge and make today a great experience.

We look forward to continuing opportunities like this in the future!
