Happy birthday to my very best friend. All the highs and lows that God has allowed in our life has drawn us so close to one another. I literally want to do everything with you, you are truly my best friend and I am so glad that God has given us this life that He has so that we can appreciate each each others strengths and weaknesses as well as we do. I cannot imagine a better mother for my children and grandma for our grandchildren. You exceed my expectations every day and I thank God for you in my life. I love you so much, babe. Happy birthday!

Congratulations to my son Drake and his teammates as the Buchanan Bears are the 2024 CIF Central Section Boys Water polo Champions. This victory culminates a long journey for Drake as one year ago right now Drake was not even able to attend a game because of his expulsion. This incredible human being has put in a lot of hard work and battled back to not only to rejoin Buchanan as a school, but to rejoin his team and help them win this championship. God has taken Drake out of the ashes. Isaiah 61:3 says, "To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified". Drake‘s maturity growth over the last year has been incredible to watch. Son, I am so proud of you and your teammate’s accomplishment, but I am especially proud of the man that you are becoming. God is good all the time! I love you, Dad. !

Here is to my very best friend on our 25th anniversary. I love you so much. You are so patient and selfless which inspires me to be patient and selfless. You are an incredible mom in service to our kids at all times. Your pursuit of our Lord is inspiring to all around you. Because I did not know much 25 years ago I am so glad God allowed me to dumb my way into this relationship. We have so much fun together and I can’t wait to see what the next 25 holds for us. So proud of my son. Luke has a drive and resilient attitude unlike I have seen in his generation. In the last few years Luke has gone from feeling insignificant in water polo to being an MVP and Buchanan Bear award winner (character and leadership) on his team his senior year. He has consistently got great grades due to his focus and hard work and that culminated last night in graduation. Most of all I have seen his relationship with Christ more important to him than ever, because of his focus on that all important relationship. I love you son and could not be more proud of you, Dad
